With an xbox, vista laptop and xp desktop, can I link all 3 using a wireless network?
I don’t yet have a wireless network (although I do have wireless broadband) but how easy will it be to setup a wireless network so I can conneet my vista laptop, xp desktop and xbox all together, so I can share music and pictures amongst all 3?
This is an interesting dilemma. Your best bet may be to try and hook up the computer that is using the wireless broadband (I presume that it’s hooked up to one of your computers via USB) to a router and put the two connections on a network bridge (can be done fairly easily in Vista, not sure about XP) and then connect the two computers and the Xbox to the router, and you might be able to get that internet connection shared. I’m not entirely sure on the specifics, but it’s a start, you’re likely going to need a router or a switch to connect all three devices together and then some way to bridge the connection from the wireless broadband adapter to the router, somehow. Good luck, and I hope a subsequent answerer can give you a better solution to your problem.
