What do you call these designs?
When you walk into a room and the walls and ceiling are painted to look like you are on top of a mountain, or out on the open ocean? I am talking about the really good 3D ones (hopefully a wallpaper) that look very realistic. I can’t find anything about them on the internet, does anyone have any idea what I am talking about?

I wanted it to look you were on a pirate ship with a huge mast and flag above you (I wanted to put them on my floor and ceiling as well as my walls, but I don’t know how I would go about it) and have the open ocean around you. I wanted another room to look like Mt. Everest with snow everywhere and huge drop offs, to make you feel like you were really about to fall. Are these possible without paying thousands of dollars to have a professional painter do it?
Those are murals. They can either be painted on by a professional or you could find a wallpaper of them. Also, if you know someone in the construction business you could have them print an enlarged image on those blueprint printers and hang it up as a poster.
