Problem with auto log off in window vista!!!?
After an idle period windows sends me to the user log on screen. My account is an admin account with password set, so i simply type the password to return to windows. However, any downloads I have going get interrupted (i guess its turning off the NIC?) and I must start them over if its not able to resume the downloading, etc. I don’t think log out is part of my power management settings, so i am guessing its a default security setting? I would like to disable it.
PS – i have no screensaver set so its not being done by screensaver security.
If anyone have the idea of this problem, i feel very happy to hear it from all of you.

Are you sure there aren’t some other power settings that maybe are on?
I think you may be experiencing some malware or something. Run some internet security software scan and remove any startup items that you don’t need to load when you boot with EasyCleaner.
