Quickbooks Credit Card Payments?
I told my new boss I know how to use QB’s using Credit Cards.
I haven’t a clue how, help?
It is hard to explain in this setting but I will do my best. First you need to set up your chart of accounts which will list all of the reasons you would use the card, for example: loan payments, utilities, merchandise, gas, etc. Then when you set up your credit card and you log a charge it will ask you which account it belongs to and you can assign it one you already set up. In the credit card screen you can enter payments you make and even reconcile each month when you get your statement just as you would with your check book and bank statement. If you are using QB’s to print checks it will automatically print out your cc payment check when you enter in the amount and which account it belongs to.
