HELP!!! I cant find a laptop!?
I’m looking for a laptop that has enough memory to support video editing / photography work, and it needs to be fairly cheap. Like, no more than $1200 cheaper would be great. I’ve been to Dell.com and customized some stuff but I am nervous about buying Vista (that is all Dell offers now) since I’ve heard so many problems about it! I’d love to get a Mac but I doubt I can afford it and the software. Help would be greatly appreciated! E-mail me if you have any more questions! Peace.
the only prob with apple is that even with the software it still comes out to near 2000 bucks.

laptops with a good dedicated graphics card, what is mandatory for graphic work, are not that expensive.
this Toshiba has plenty of memory (4GB), a quite fast cpu, a reasonable sized hard drive (320GB) and a graphics card with 512MB dedicated ram what is considerable. with a price of $780 still $400 left for software.

this laptop comes with Vista 64bit, so the full amount of ram can be used and Vista will only take up to a quarter of it.
