How are digital (photography) images presented professionally?
I am curious as to the most cost effective way to print and present digital images for either gallery presentation or salable prints.
Specifics on type of printer, type/size of paper, appropriate resolution, etc would be most helpful. Ease in ability to sell the work is important.

The same lab you had develop your other work should have the capability of printing digital files, too…
You definitely want high resoltion so large prints aren’t pixelated. Make sure you have your camera on the highest resolution setting.
Minimum 300dpi…
**If you are talking about home printers… don’t do it for professional presentation. It is more cost effective to watch for specials at ImageStation for large prints then to buy a good enough printer, and then all the ink on top of it all… (You go through a LOT of ink…) The supplies for the printing would be more than the deals you’d find. Usually about once a month you can get BIG prints for half price.
