What happens if I don’t finish my Kaplan SAT Prep homework?
I’ve been sick this past week and have had no time or energy to do all of these assignments and I really can’t see myself finishing them in time for tomorrow’s class. Does the instructor notice if you don’t complete the practice problems online?
Your instructor is paid to pay attention to your participation. Mostly, that’s because he/she doesn’t want to be blamed when your scores don’t go up.
It’s understandable that you were sick and all… but your instructor is still going to care whether or not it gets done. As for “what happens,” well it’s not like they tack a note onto your college applications, but they don’t ignore it either. I don’t work for Kaplan, but in my company, we inform the parents when students don’t do the work. They would also be ineligible for any refunds or freebies if they don’t get the scores they wanted.
Friendly advice: Don’t wait until the last minute when you have a problem in a class. Seriously. When you get sick, let them know right away. I know that a lot of students are hesitant to do that but it really goes a long way.
