How do I fix a Ipod Software Error?
I just updated my ipod software to the latest version (4.0.2 i think) and it keeps coming up on my ipod screen a picture of the usb cable pointing to the itunes logo. I’ve kept my ipod plugged into the computer all day but nothing has happened. I take it out and it is still there. Anyway I can fix it? Thankyou.
That means it’s in recovery mode. You have to restore it to make that logo disappear, which will delete all the data on your iPod… So create a backup before you restore, this will automatically install the newest software on your device.
To restore, you have to put the iPod in the recovery mode first. Since your iPod is already in that mode, simply open iTunes and click restore. The logo won’t disappear until you do this.
