Personal Photography Website Ideas?
For my BTEC Media coursework i have to design and build a website to if its good enough it can be published online ( for a small price and providing the domain name isn’t already taken). My chosen idea is to make a personal website about myself and my main interests, which happen to be photography and nature. So far i have come up with the following page ideas ( Home page, About me, gallery with sub pages like nature,wildlife,water and places, a media page, showing which images i have had published in a newspaper and magazine and a contact page). I am happy with my main header and background colour and layout but its the content which has really got me stuck, of course i will put a ton of images up but im not sure what else.
Are there any website designers or photographers with websites they could show me and give me any tips as this is something i rally feel passinote about.
Sounds like you’ve got the important things covered. I really like the idea of showing which images you have in use; I have recently created a simple website and included links to some of my work in action, and it’s great to show potential clients that ‘yeah, I can do this’
