What should be done when Windows is not being able to format the newly bought micro floppy disk?
What should be done when Windows is not being able to format the newly bought micro floppy disk (microdiskette: double sided, high density, double track) of a not famous brand?
Have you tried other disks or just the one?
If it’s just the one then I would suggest trying a different disk and see if it does the same thing.
If it does, it could be that your floppy drive could be done and you would need to replace it.
Realistically, I would stop using floppy disks. It’s easier to by a USB drive and store files there which you can easily take with you and use on any computer.
