Sealed box in an open Chevy Blazer?
I have 2 Cerwin Vega VMAX subs with a 1200 Watt Soundstorm amp. The subs are in a sealed box. The box is in the rear of my ‘02 Chevy Blazer. I know this questions has been asked before, but it was never vehicle specific. Which way should I face the subs for the best sound? Face them towards the tailgate, the hood, or towards the ceiling. Also, I am still running the stock 6-disc In-Dash stereo from the factory. The bass output from the subs makes every CD that I play skip. Is there any way to rectify that problem short of buying a better radio?
in an SUV always point them to the back if its sealed. It will sound better and have increased bass response.
And yes you need a new deck.
