Windows XP Desktop Wallpaper Help!!!!!!!!!?
I was fiddling around with some display settings and when I saw my desktop again, my wallpaper was gone and when I change it, it won’t show up: instead it has the blue default screen.
But the weird thing is, when I unselect “Show Desktop Items” so that they are hidden, the wallpaper shows up! This has been happening for months now, but I just thought of asking the question on Yahoo! Answers today!
I was using a theme that I made myself when it happened, But I have changed the wallpaper to the ones that came with the computer but it still won’t show up.
How do I fix this!
I don’t know when this problem started so I can’t system restore, and I’ve tried changing every desktop setting that I could, but that didn’t work either, so I’m going to have to make myself another account and back-up all of my files (AGAIN!) Thanks anyway guys. I won’t do it just yet though so more people can help me out.

it seems like the blue screen has been turned to a “desktop item”
edit: P.S. try doing a spyware or virus scan! (i would suggest spybot search and destroy, and avast or AVG antivirus
