How to have a background picture immediately mold to computer screen on website?
I need the CSS code to cause a background image to fit perfectly. The code I have now is not filling the entire screen. How can I change it so it fills without repeating?
This is what I have now:

margin: 5px;
background-image: url(../styleImages/backgrounds/pageBg.jpg);
background-repeat: no-repeat;
}
But this is not filling the entire screen how can I change it so it fills without repeating?
Background image won’t do the trick. They will always be of a fixed size.
The only way would be:
1. On first call, get the screen width with javascript.
2. Send it back to the server.
3. Using width, resize a stored image to the screen size.
4. REload the page, using the new image.
This will work, but will NOT work if the user resizes the window afterwards.
Just one note: It is a VERY bad practive to use a large image for a page background: it takes too long to download and, because of that, looses you visitors who will not wait! (Your home page MUST load in less than 1.5 sec, otherwise, your site is “amateurish”)
