why do the images i download from yahoo appear blurry on my desktop background?
whenever i save a picture from IMAGES on yahoo to my pictures and then try and use it for my desktop background, they often look out of focus. not always, but most of the time. what can i do to correct this? thanks for help given.
Are you using them as full size desktop backgrounds? Were they that size to begin with? Enlarging (stretching) a graphic file causes fuzziness, because there aren’t enough pixels. (You can’t create what’s not there to start. If the picture is 600 pixels high and you stretch it to fit a 1200 pixel high screen, the extra 600 pixels don’t get created, you just get larger pixels. Larger pixels = fuzziness.)
